Changed

The folder where settings and data are stored was renamed from dev.wandeln.app to app.wandeln (for example %APPDATA%\app.wandeln). When you update, settings, to-dos, memo, plugins, your Discord connection and so on are moved to the new folder automatically. Nothing to do by hand.

Fixed

Uploading files dropped onto the bar could send empty (0-byte) files. Files that can’t be read are now refused with a notice on the bar, and failed uploads say why (empty file, over 200 MB, network error, …).

Improved

Running a conversion from File Explorer’s right-click menu while wandeln isn’t running now just does the conversion — no bar or tray icon — and quits automatically when it’s done.

Top bar

A resident bar that reserves the top edge of the screen and steps aside for full-screen apps.
16 widgets: clock, world clock, weather, CPU, memory, disk, network, battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, now playing, to-do, memo, timer, OBS and Discord.
Per-widget display options. Now playing can show cover art, choose the title text, scroll long titles and show playback buttons on the bar; CPU / memory can show a graph or gauge with a warning threshold; battery can show an icon and only appear below a set level; and more.
Bar-wide look: spacing, font size, and hiding widget labels.

Command palette

Launch apps, calculate (with history), convert currency, units, hex and color codes, search emoji.
To-dos, memo and timers, URL shortening, video / audio downloads.
System commands, window layouts, Windows Settings pages, killing processes, shell commands.
Clipboard history, file search, snippets, quicklinks, custom commands and scripts.
